When deciding what to do for our next t-shirt design, I knew I wanted something BRIGHT and something with COURAGE!

Courage plays a BIG role in the adoption process... on both sides! The people and friends I have met in the adoption community are some of the most courageous people I know.

It takes courage to make a decision.

It takes courage to follow through with that decision.

It takes courage to stand up to the 'haters'.
It takes courage to have a voice!

I have been thinking about COURAGE and this post for the last few weeks and really trying to understand what it means to me.

Have you ever thought...

What could I accomplish if I feared NOTHING!

Can you imagine the dreams you would reach? The people you would inspire? If you feared nothing. If you had the courage to fear nothing!

I believe in courage.

I believe courage is contagious.

I think courage begins when the grasp of fear disappears. When making a decision or the 'next step' becomes what you want and believe in and NOT what others will think of you or the decisions you make. When your desire to achieve your dream becomes more powerful then the 'what if's'

I don't believe adoption is the best decision for everyone, no matter the situation or circumstances. What I do believe is when you act upon courage and not fear, you are following the path God created for you, whether that be adoption or not.

Fear is a liar.

Courage is power.
